Thank you for visiting Teresa Nadeau's site. It is a special place for her to tell her story and educate people on what it means to live life to it's fullest with an extremely debilitating disease called Scleroderma. She is a very strong hearted individual that has managed to find the good in what most of us would find a difficult situation. She is an artist that inspires other artists with her ability even, no in spite of, her hands not being as agile as they once were. Her artwork is beautiful. Those are not her words as she is too humble to say such a thing. But that is what the artists around her say.

Teresa is loved by those around her and it is her desire to see her art used to educate people about the effects of Scleroderma and to build awareness of the Scleroderma Foundation.

With colored pencils I can’t erase. Sometimes I get stuck in a spot trying to figure out what to do next. Suddenly my hands and eyes begin to work in quick unison picking up pencils, putting them down, grabbing just the right color, making just the right stroke. I can feel the energy flow from my shoulder and down my arm. It’s pretty cool. I know it’s a gift from God.

In the following pages you will find the story of Teresa Nadeau, information about Scleroderma and the Scleroderma Foundation, and some examples of her beautiful artwork. She has prints for sale. And I know she would appreciate hearing from you. Don't expect her to write back, as typing is difficult, but just write to encourage her in her outlet. Let her know that you have learned something. Drop her a line and let her know that she is making a difference.

I would like to express my deep appreciation, gratitude and love to Alan and Leslie Goldberg for making this website possible.
